3.29/doz, we only use egglands brown. But there are often coupons.

 Feed is $9.00 per 50 lb bag. So whatever that would divide up to make per dozen. We raise our own hens/eggs. 14 hens eat 1 bag per week and lay almost 8 dozen per week. So I'll let you do the math.

$10 for 5 dozen, about $2.60 a dozen in the regular stores. We eat 5 dozen in about 2 weeks! (5 people in the house)

When we lived in the States, we paid somewhere around $1.60. Here in England if we shop at the commissary, we pay about the same. But if we shop off base, then we pay about £2 for half a dozen. Unless we go to the market. Then they're so much cheaper, getting them straight from the source.

We used to have our own hens.It was fun getting the fresh eggs every morning
