What do you serve for breakfast that's easy on the budget but still nourishing.
veggie frittatas: uses leftover veggies (we like to use broccoli), eggs, can of evaporated milk, handful of leftover cheese.
We used to enjoy rice pudding: rice, raisins (or not), cinnamon, and nutmeg baked in an egg custard.
homemade pancakes or waffles
I make and freeze waffles and pancakes. It is much cheaper to do it yourself.
Oatmeal is a favorite. Also cheese grits, french toast, and cheese toast.
