Getting New Moms Adjusted to Mommyhood One Step at a Time

Group Home

We do and we LOVE it. A lot of coffee was being wasted in our house after brewing an entire pot and the Keurig allows us to choose our own particular coffee and make that single cup! No more pouring old and cold coffee down the drain!

However.

Those little k-cups are ridiculously expensive and seem like a bit of a waste of money when it comes down to the nitty gritty of the grocery budget.

We solved this problem by investing in an eco-brewer! This is like a sturdy re-usable k-cup that you can fill up with your own ground coffee to make your coffee. This is really great for the $20 investment! Especially since packs of k-cups are $11 each or more!

Eco brew refillable K-cup for your own coffee.

No Keurig here.

The cups are cool but after seeing how much the things costs and the machine itself. I figured my Chai Tea method works just fine the way I do it with hot water and the tea kettle.

But I would get the cups if I was going to be using them at work. Not at home though.

No. We put the extra into a thermos and use it later. Three of us drink coffee and we drink it by the mug. So Keurig would kill us.

We need those!

Fil sent us a Keurig for Christmas. We LOVE it! Before that, I would set our coffee maker to brew a pot at 4:30am for dh. When I'd get up at 7, I wouldn't want his leftover coffee, but didn't want to make another pot. So the Keurig is great for us.

Yes, and all kinds of tea, iced tea, iced coffee...good stuff!

They make apple cider and hot chocolate too!

Oooo...I may have to look into a Keurig and eco-cup!  I don't drink coffee but my husband drinks in everyday and he wastes so much of it!  That would be perfect for him!
