Need more info. Is there a link somewhere? Are all farmers included? Is there a time frame?

Oh doy! I'm sorry. I forgot the link... http://www.farmersfeedus.org/

Here are the rules for Nebraska Corn, but all of the states should be similiar. http://www.farmersfeedus.org/ne/corn/10/sweepstakes/rules/329

But what I told you is true. You go to farmersfeedus.org, and if you live in one of the states I mentioned, you go to the site, choose your state from the drop-down, and it'll take you to a page with farmers on there. You can visit each one per day, and each has a registration form for a chance to win.

This is not farmers feed farmers, this is farmers feed us. As in everyone else.

I presumed that was for the last contest. This has been on the Nebraska pages.

No Purchase Necessary. Farmer Feed US Sweepstakes is open to Nebraska residents 18 years and older. Sweepstakes is from January 7, 2013 until April 8, 2013 at 12:00 noon ET. For entry and official rules visit FarmersFeedUS.org. Free groceries are a $5,000 value. Sponsored by Center for Food Integrity. Void where prohibited.

Ok, so I clicked on this and then back to the "winners" page. Apparently Nebraska is still in the running, perhaps one other state, but a good majority of them are already over. Thanks for clearing that up :)

I'm sorry, I didn't know that they were over.

2 moms liked this

On a tangental note. We had friends who owned a potato farm. They had offered to let people glean in their fields after the machines had gone through. Sadly no one was interested. A couple of us made the trek and it was great fun, (probably because of the novelty), even though it was work. We brought home bags of small tasty potatoes. Perhaps there are gleaning groups in your areas.

What a great program. Too bad farmers all over the USA aren't involved. How lucky to get REAL food rather then the garbage we buy in the grocery stores.have a nice weekend
