Baseball Bats that no longer meet regulation

I wasn't for sure where to post this.  I work with a guy who always gives me his sons cloths that no longer fit his boy.  (I'm very grateful!).  Along with costumes, sporting clothes and some equipment (helmets, baseball bats).  He was telling me that he has a crap load of bats (12 maybe) at home that he paid $200-300 for and they no longer meet regulation.  Does anyone know of a place that he could sell them and make at least a little money.  I didn't realize some bats were that expensive.

Craigslist or Ebay I would think.

Yes, this. I think they should have a buy-back program where you could get something from them.
