Budget Friendly Birthday Party Ideas?

There's no real theme. He's turning 8, and the party is next Saturday (the 15th).

I've got....nothing, lol.

His favorite colors are green and purple, so cupcakes and dinnerware will reflect that. It's cold out, and my house is tiny...so I need something for 8-10 kids to do inside.

8-10 kids...I mean. Ranging in age from 8 to 1.

One ofthe best party activities I ever did was for my older son's Phineas and Ferb party. I saved/found lots of unique items that they could build their own "inators". The minimum time spent on the project was 45 minutes. The kids loved it and it cost almost nothing

If I can find a pull string one, that will work. If it's not TOO cold I can get them outside for 10-15 minutes to swing at it.

I have a "make a pipe cleaner animal" kit, I just need to get googly eyes.

I plan on ordering them already made, but I can get some sprinkles and candies for them to top them with.

Do you have pics of their creations? That sounds fun and cute. I bet they made some fun stuff.
