We got a check in the mail today for $100.  What would you do with it?

ooh! How exciting!  I think if I were to get a check in the mail today for $100, I would not tell my husband about it first of all (he's a spender! If he knows we have extra money, he all of a sudden realizes all these things he NEEDS to buy!), and then I would put it aside for Christmas!

What are your plans for those $100?

I'd put it in savings.

Savings. I like to have at least $1,000 in there but we had to take part out for an emergency. It would help build it back up.

I'll probably put it in savings.  It may be used for my dd's birthday coming up next month or my son's baptism.  There is so much we need (new doors for my van and now it's doing something weird when we start it, pay off our credit card... all WAY more then $100).

Big kids and husband are getting a family gift and we already got it.  So except for a couple of small things for the little kids, we're pretty much done.  That never happens!

I'd put it aside. We're anticipating a move sometime this year and you just never know what will come up.
