As a child my family's menu consisted of two choices:  take it or leave it.  ~Buddy Hackett

**are those the options your child(ren) have as well?

yes...mine can eat what i make or not eat at all.  the only time that changes is at least one night a week we have a 'fend for yourself' night....and i let them pick what they eat as long as it is super simple and doesn't involve cooking

Yep.  I never made two or more meals just to please everyone.  I always tried to make meals that we all enjoyed, but if there was a particular night that I fixed something and Matt wasn't too thrilled about it, he didn't have to eat it, but I certainly wasn't going to cook him something else.  Now that he's old enough, he fends for himself most nights anyway, so now I can fix more food that I like and not worry about him.

Mine is still an infant -almost toddler! - and eats everything I put in front of him! But as he gets older I don't plan on cooking separate meals for anyone. I just hope he stays a good eater, my step-daughter is very picky!

I'm working on it, but I wasn't raised that way.

Yes.  They eat what I cook, or don't eat at all.  I am not a short order cook.
