If you're looking for an excuse to crank up the barbeque a little ahead of schedule, try out this recipe I just found for grilled smoky cheddar potato packs. This recipe is not only tasty, but super easy and virtually mess free. The meal comes in its own little pouch, which keeps clean up to a minimum.
4 medium potatoes, cut into 1-inch chunks
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)
2 tablespoons Betty Crocker® Bac~Os® bacon flavor chips
2 medium green onions, sliced (2 tablespoons)
Makes 4 servings
Moms, what else would you add to this recipe?
I'm not a grill person but this sounds really good. If it has potatoes and cheese I'm sure to be drooling. ;o)
i'd use real bacon instead of bac-o's. and we'd add extra cheese..ya know, make it super unhealthy lol
