Snack or meal recipes for a boy with a peanut allergy.

Posted by   + Show Post

I take care of a boy that has a peanut allergy, so sometimes when it's easy to make a snack of a PB&J sandwich for his brother's, I have to come up with creative snacks for him. Do any of you know any good peanut free snacks and/or meal recipes w/out nuts?

Any input is very much appreciated! :O)

2 moms liked this

string cheese chopped into bite size pieces, dipped in milk and bread crumbs, baked at 425 for 8-10 minutes- serve with marinara sauce!

You can give all of them sunflower seed butter instead of peanut butter.

Hummus is inexpensive to make, and it great with crunch vegetables (like carrots and jicama) and whole grain crackers

Tortilla pizza: whole grain tortillas, sauce, shredded cheese, assorted vegetables
