Looking for yummy BBQ ribs recipe. Help!?!?

Hi. I'm having family over this Sunday for my hubby's 40th birthday party. His request was ribs. I don't have any good recipes. In fact, I have never really made them before. I would love to cook them on the grill. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Grilled Ribs with Cherry Cola Barbecue Sauce from the Betty Crocker site!

Grilled Ribs with Cherry Cola Barbecue Sauce

You Need:

5
to 6 lb pork baby back ribs
1
teaspoon seasoned salt
1
teaspoon garlic pepper blend
1/2
teaspoon ground ginger
1
cup barbecue sauce
1
can (12 oz) cherry cola
1/4
cup cherry preserves
1/2
teaspoon ground mustard
1
to 2 teaspoons buffalo wing hot sauce or other hot sauce

To Make:

  • 1Heat oven to 350°F. Cut ribs into serving-size sections. Rub ribs with seasoned salt, garlic pepper and ginger. Place ribs in 15x10x1-inch pan, overlapping slightly. Bake uncovered about 1 hour 30 minutes or until tender.
  • 2Meanwhile, in 2-quart saucepan, mix barbecue sauce, cola, preserves, mustard and buffalo wing sauce. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer uncovered 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until flavors are blended and sauce is slightly thickened.
  • 3Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat. Cover and grill ribs over medium heat 10 to 15 minutes, turning and brushing occasionally with barbecue sauce mixture to glaze.
  • 4Heat remaining barbecue sauce mixture to boiling; boil and stir 1 minute. Serve sauce with ribs.

Tips:

Precooking the ribs in the oven or microwave shortens the grilling time, helps tenderize the meat and removes some of the fat.

You can use regular cola instead of the cherry cola if you like.

Grilled Baby Back Ribs with Spicy Barbecue Sauce from the Betty Crocker site!

Grilled Baby Back Ribs with Spicy Barbecue Sauce

You Need:

Baby Back Ribs
4 1/2
lb pork loin back ribs
1
teaspoon salt
1
teaspoon pepper
Spicy Barbecue Sauce
1
cup ketchup
1/2
cup water
1/3
cup packed brown sugar
1/4
cup white vinegar
1
tablespoon celery seed
1/2
teaspoon red pepper sauce
1/2
teaspoon liquid smoke, if desired

To Make:

  • 1Heat oven to 325°F. Cut ribs into serving pieces; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place ribs in 15x10x1-inch pan. Cover with foil; bake about 2 hours 30 minutes or until tender.
  • 2Meanwhile, in 2-quart saucepan, mix sauce ingredients. Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low; simmer uncovered 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 3Heat gas or charcoal grill for indirect cooking as directed by manufacturer.
  • 4Place pork on unheated side of two-burner gas grill or over drip pan on charcoal grill. (If using one-burner gas grill, cook over low heat.) Cover grill; cook 15 to 20 minutes, brushing with sauce every 5 minutes, until pork is no longer pink and meat begins to pull away from bones. Discard any remaining sauce.

Tips:

To finish the ribs in the oven instead of on the grill, after baking 2 1/2 hours, increase oven temperature to 450°F and bake uncovered 15 to 20 minutes longer, brushing with sauce every 5 minutes, until pork is no longer pink and meat begins to pull away from bones.

At the supermarket, these ribs may be labeled as back ribs or pork ribs.
