What are some of your favorite crock pot recipes using chicken?
Oh, I have so many! I've gotten most of my faves from this group.
Crock pot chicken with black beans and cream cheese
Cream cheese chicken with broccoli
Crock pot bacon cheese chicken
White bean chicken chili (Not actually crock pot recipe, but I adapted for the CP. Just put all ingredients in CP, but when you add the chicken, add whole frozen breasts instead of cooked and chopped chicken. Then, cook on low for 6 hours)
Farmhouse chicken and corn chowder
Also, there is a CM member who has an awesome crock pot blog with lots of family-friendly recipes.
Slow Cooker Chicken Parmesan with Penne Pasta
1 pkt ranch dressing mix
1 can cream of chicken soup
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or porkchops!)
Throw it all in on low for 8-10hrs. Ta-da!
Buffalo chicken sandwiches - boneless skinless chicken in the crockpot with buffalo wing sauce and shredded carrots and celery. Shred the chicken once it's done and make sandwiches. Just like buffalo wings!
Amaretto chicken - chicken in the crockpot. Mix together can of cream of chicken soup, 1/2 soup can of milk, 1/3 c amaretto - pour over chicken. Top with 1 envelope onion soup mix. Serve over noodles or rice.
I make one called Crockpot Swiss Chicken Casserole. It's pretty good :)
I have a new one that I just made the other day.
1 can Fiesta Cheese soup, per directions on can
1 Can Cheedar Cheese Soup, per directions on can
1.5 pounds chicken breast
1-2 cans black beans, drained and rinsed (2 cans if you like more beans)
1 pound frozen corn
2/3 cup rice
Combine all except rice in a crock pot and cook on low for 6 hours.
Take out chicken and shred. Return to Crock pot
Add Rice and cook an addition 2 hours or until rice is cooked.
