EASY GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE
1 (18-1/4 oz) chocolate cake mix
1 cup water
3 eggs (plus 1 egg yolk for frosting)
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 (14-oz) can EAGLE BRAND Sweetened Condensed Milk
3 Tbs butter
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1/3 cup flaked coconut
1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13x9 cake pan. In large bowl, combine cake mix, water, 3 eggs, oil and 1/3 cup Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk. Beat on low speed until moistened; beat on high speed 2 minutes.
Pour into prepared pan. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.
In small saucepan over medium heat, combine remaining Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk, egg yolk and butter. Cook and stir until thickened, about 6 minutes. Add pecans, coconut and vanilla; spread over warm cake. Stor covered in refrigerator.
