Has anyone worked with this before? I am going to be making my own and attempting to make something out of it this weekend. I am trying to make cupcake toppers for my sons 4th birthday. The theme is Veggie Tales, so I am making Bob the tomato and Larry the cucumbers. Should be easy enough...tomatoes are round balls with eyes, lol. Cuke is just an elongated ball...with eyes, lol.
Has anyone made their own before? The recipe I got was almond bark and corn syrup.

So this is extremely easy to make, but I will say I will go out of my way to order chips in the color I need, because working in the color is a huge PITA. Its not impossible, but it hurts the hands like crazy and you have to knead it in for like 20 minutes to make sure it is even. Then...if its not enough you have to add more, and repeat. If I can find chips already colored...I will use those.
Other than that this stuff is just like using clay, just keep it cold. If you have warm or hot hands, dip them into cold water to cool them off. I am cold, so no issues there.
Ignore my attempts to put some white icing on as eyes, lol. It didnt work out the best, but my son loved them. Thats what counts!

Well I guess I am the guinea pig then! LOL. I found how-to and recipes on you tube. It looks simple enough. I am going to start it today and see what happens. It is supposed to chill fpr at least 4-6 hours or over night is better.
