My neighbor is having a baby shower. Don't you only get one? Her daughter is 2
I thought moms only got one baby shower until there was years and years between children. Has this changed?

My daughter just had a shower for her third child, first boy. I don't know, in my day it was 1st baby only, now so many are having them with every one. Technically, since the mom-to-be isn't the one who is supposed to be throwing the shower, if she has friends who want to do that for her, what is she to do? (tongue in cheek)
Honestly, I think every baby deserves to be celebrate, with or without gifts.
I only had one shower, but a 2nd would've been super helpful to us since our 1st was still using everything the 2nd needed. We barely even received a "congrats" from family when the 2nd was born. It sucked to feel like she didn't matter.
my sister had 2 the first one was a buy the new momy everything she needs for a new baby
the 2nd one i gave he and we had a huge potluck and we all chiped in and got her maid service for a month
I'm a baby cuddling, disposable diapering, formula feeding , non-co sleeper, pro-choice, rear-facing, first time mommy to a wonderful little girl.
