 I couldn't do that. I don't think they mean any harm. They probably tried the toy in the store and it was fun so they figured your little one would love it. Of course, you know your friends and family and they might have been trying to be mean. I just know I buy kids toys based on what I think they'd love.

My in-laws bought something similar for my kids a few years back for Christmas.  We made them keep it at their house.  We refused to take it home.  LOL

I always make sure to remember who gives loud toys to the girls. I like to mention to the parents I am remembering them, too, LOL!
