Do you have any? Why or why not?

AND

Would you let your children get them?

I have one and am wanting another.. I love body art

If Kael wants one at 17... I have no problem with it. I will happily sign the paper work for it.

Yes and I regret them. I will encourage my children to think long and hard about permanently marking their bodies.

I have four and plan on getting more. I was raised into the biker culture and tattoos are a very big form of self expression.

If my children want them, they can get them when they are of legal age.

Yep! One on my wrist and one on my right shoulder blade. If my kids want them I don't mind, but I will encourage them to really think about it.

I have 2. I would let my child get one when he's old enough and mature enough about the decision.

I don't have any. DH has 3 and wants some more. (He hasn't gotten any since we've been married though). My children will not get them before they are 18 and have moved out. I'm not opposed to them, but I'm not paying for them.

And I want them to be mature enough to realize the permanency and the potential effects on the rest of their life.
