a break after school? Or do you jump right into homework?

We do homework before fun after school. Any deviation and the next morning it's "Mom, I forgot to do my homework."

I let them come home, have a snack and unwind for a few minutes, then homework has to be done before play time or friends time.

They get home, have a snack then do homework.

When my kids are in school we will probably do homework first, that's the way I did it as a kid and it was the most effective for us.  If we put it off it would be a struggle to get it done.

They can have a 20 minute break, to have some juice and a snack but then right to do homework... And I'll check it.. and then the rest of the day free

I have my kids come home and do homework immediately, so that we have the rest of the night for whatever....and then they get a snack and a break

Homework first. That way we can get any surprises out of the way.
