If so, how old are they? What do they do and how much do they get?

I think I'm the weak link in our allowance issues. My dd is 9 and is willing to do things but to be honest I just forget lol. She sweeps the sidewalk, feeds the pets,... but I forget to give her the money. Bad mom.

No, but they get money directly deposited into their savings account each month.

hmm interesting idea. Can they spend it how ever they want? Did they do anything to earn it?

They are only 16 months and 3. When we found out we were pregnant with each, we allocated money to their savings account. We take $50 from that account each month for their 529 plan. We use it for things like new carseats and cribs. We do it so we know, no matter what happens, they will not be without.

If my son who is almost 8 does his chores for the week, he will get $5.00.

my dd is spoiled too so she really doesn't need the money. Plus Grandma lives a block away.
