Hurricane Irene along the east coast...

Posted by   + Show Post

Just wondering for those of you along the east coast if you are preparing yourselves for this hurricane that is coming our way? If so what are your doing to prepare for it? My hubby went out last night to fill up gas cans for our generator, in case we lose our power.  I live in Maine, but we are not sure what we will get out of this storm.

Well They said by sunday to east coast of Ny it will be a category 2 . They said hurricanes build of of hotter waters. They said the waters of Ny and north is cold so it slows down the hurricane. That it could be just a tropical storm. We are going to get set up but who knows. Best to be safe than sorry right.
