What is your children's bedtime? How old are they? What time do they get up?

My DD is 4 and her bedtime is around 8:30. She gets up at 8:30 am.

It kinda sounds like my friend and her kids. She just let them crash when they crashed when they were little. During the school year they always just have to be in their rooms by midnight, not necessarily asleep. She doesn't homeschool, they are in high school now and have always done this.

Quoting LindaClement:

Until they started school it didn't matter. Once they started school, they could manage their own time/sleep needs (because they were both 18 by then)...

We homeschooled.

Quoting paganbaby:

How did that work for school?

Quoting LindaClement:

Nope.

Quoting paganbaby:

You never had them on a schedule?

Quoting LindaClement:

They went to bed when they were tired. They got up when they were finished sleeping. It varied so much over the years, that there is no block of four hours that I could use as an estimate that would be accurate at all.
