This song is even more sad when you know the story: one of Elton John's friends died of AIDS...he was gay and he and his father had a falling out over it...until he was dying...and it was at that point that they really connected over everything.  This song was dedicated to them...

 I'm not a religious person at ALL...however, when I was pregnant with my middle child, I started massively bleeding at around 8weeks...my husband is military and I ended up having to drive myself to the hospital...I was crying and was flipping to channels and then this song came on...

Anyways...it was calming at the moment and my little man ended up being ok...they never did find out the reason for that bleed...
