It's an interesting ideal but it doesn't always work out that way. Ideal for my own daughters yes, but life happens. I'll just be happy if they finish high-school first.

I did it totally opposite. Had kids, bought a house, then got married! Now all my kids are growing up I'm getting an education.

It's the way DH and I have done it.  It works for us.  For others, it's not my concern to be honest.

That's how it worked out for me and hopefully will for my daughter too! But I have plenty of friends that have done it the opposite way and its still great! I have a friend who just got married and their 3 year old daughter was apart of it! It was the sweetest thing ever and proof of what love can create!

I think it's the best way and the way it's intended to be.  Unfortunately, doesn't always happen that way.  Melissa....where'd you get your siggy?  I LOVE IT!

that's the way we did it....i believe in it...but i guess it's not how it happens for everyone
