Who lifts weights? How often? For what purpose?
I did in high school for toning. Other than that now it's just a 20 ounce diet dr. depper any time I can talk dh into picking one up for me.
I do... because I get stronger fast, so it's rewarding...
I build muscle to improve the condition of my cartilege. I build muscle to retain my strength and balance. I build muscle to avoid type II diabetes, and to keep my bones strong and dense.
I have never done anything consistently since high school, but I'm starting again! I love the results you get when weight training, and the progress you can see.
When I belonged to a gym I did. But home - no.
I used to. I have to tell you I looked good back then too. Real good! Now I'm fat and out of shape..lol.
