Anyone know what kind of lawyer?

My MIL needs to essentially fight for her inheritance (and really even the knowledge of said inheritance) with her brother.  Her brother is the executor of her estate/will and refuses to call anyone about anything pertaining to their mother.  We've already contacted the investment firm holding the estate and were told we needed to speak to the executor, which we've tried, unsuccessfully.  What kind of lawyer do we need to contact?  TIA!

i would think an estate lawyer as well.  can you call the atty who is handling the estate?  if you don't know who that is, i would call someone else for sure!

that's sad!  my dh and his sister went around and around with each other.  my SIL wanted everything!  like, every little thing, and then they had to go after their uncle for trying to take stuff that wasn't his and for the way some things were handled.  it's such a mess.  i don't know why people have to make it so difficult!  anywho...good luck to her!

WI. But the investment firm with her estate is in Kansas City, MO, where she used to live (she passed in WI).

Wouldn't it be an estate attorney?
