BUMP

not sure, my dd is 9 so I haven't had to worry about that in a while. Someone in here knows about carseats I just haven't seen her today yet.

I don't know what the weight is now, I assume its at least 20 lbs but yes, they recommend 2 years old.

I just moved my DD into her bigger carseat, and it says to wait until their 20 pounds. Which she almost is... :/ So I guess she'll be turning around soon. But I think it's actually 20 pounds and a year old.

The minimum requirment is 20lbs AND 1 year old. The AAP reccomends to continue to rearface until at least 2 years old, as it is much safer.

Its at least 20 lbs AND one year. There is no height recommendation. They recommend until at least 2 years old now though.

My DD is 20 lbs, 32 1/2 in, and 14 months. She's in a Britax Roundabout. We are choosing to keep her rear facing for another year. Maybe longer.
Their neck muscles are just not built up enough to deal with the impact of a crash so young.
