I know this sounds silly. Because they are my kids and I should know what to get them. But... I'm running out of ideas!
DS is 6 and DD is 1. Both of their grandmas gave us $ to get them gifts.
We still have $25 each from one grandma and $50 each from the other to spend. They don't want to do the shopping part. Just the gift giving part, lol. So we are trying to figure out what the heck to get them.

Help!

Kaitlyn picked:

And we got her a big set of stuff for her kitchen.
I need to find a book, some sippys, and maybe an outfit.

For Cam we got:
A soccer ball
V-reader books
And have to pick up Lego Star wars 3.
And probably some paper or art supplies.
Then we still have $10 to spend on him. Ack.. A book or board games maybe? Hopefully their grandmas will be ok with what we found.

Lol! Good point. Ill just get her boxes and pocket the $. I'm sure nobody will notice haha.

Remote controlled car is actually a good idea. He seemed really interested in the ones he played with at Bass Pro Shop.

I decided long ago I was putting too much thought in it at that age because they only wanted the box once they got it open.

She keeps playing with Barbies and baby dolls at the store. She's to little to be interested in big kid stuff. :(

For your son, maybe a Leapster 2 and some games? My friends 6 yo son is really into Star Wars stuff, and 2 or 3 Star Wars toys easily. Or Lego stuff?

For the baby, get clothes, diapers, and maybe a toy lol. My girls liked baby dolls at that age, and the little baby doll strollers are fun for them too.

Probably the one I was talking about. It's fisher price. Does she have all the accessories? living room, grandma with stroller, baby and what not?

He thinks he's "to big" for the leapster and most toys now actually. Darn kid.
He loves Legos, but those are a backup plan. I think he already has a decent amount for his age. Star Wars toys might be fun though.

I think we might just go the boring route and get sippys and maybe some clothes to grow in to.

Ack. Their birthdays are so close to Christmas that I'm just out of ideas. We don't buy them many toys through the year. So its fun to spoil them on birthdays and christmas.
