Does anyone do this?

It's more of meal plan for people with hypertension. My dh and I are starting it and working with a guide to get a meal plan in place. Anyone have any tips or advice?

Then you probably don't have high blood pressure =)

I'm kinda thinking most haven't heard of this.

I'm guessing this is short for Mrs. Dash. A no salt seasoning that comes in handy when you have to cut your sodium intake. Rinse your canned vegetables to get rid of some of the extra salt or buy the no salt added. Drain and rinse your ground beef after frying.

I looked at that site and have a book, I was more wondering if anyone else is living like this. I'm having a hard time looking at the list of foods we can eat and trying to make a meal plan that my dd will eat too. I hate cooking 2 meals for dinner. plus I'm looking for heart healthy recipes, but I'm not much of a cook and everything seems complicated... and I might be able to pull together a few meals but I don't want to eat the same meals all the time. UGH

This whole thing started a few days ago when I saw dh's blood pressure. it was higher than mine and I'm on BP medication. Plus his dad died from heart issues when he was 40. So I really got worried. So now we're both looking at this lifestyle change and kind of dragging dd along for the ride lol.
