Did/does your mom/dad ever tell you that?

Would you tell your kid(s) that?

What does it mean to you?

Do you agree with it?

I never heard that quote before. Not quite sure what it's supposed to mean.

Well, my mom told me that. She came here for Christmas and sat on my couch laughing watching me repeatedly go get my 14 month old dear daughter and bein her back into the living room. She said "You did that to me too. I had to chase you all over the place. You'll get your exercise now." How would you take that?

No...

What is that even supposed to mean?

I wouldn't take it in a bad way. All moms chase kids.

After reading your comments I think she wasn't meaning anything bad.
SO's parents always say he's paying for what a crazy toddler he was because our dd is JUST like he was.

1 mom liked this

There is a curse every mom puts on thier children that says "I hope you have one just like you!" I have apologized to my mother and asked her to remove the curse, but she refuses.

I agree with this. My Grandmother used to always tell me that I would have Kids that were just like me. Not a bad thing at all, and she was totally right.

This is how I heard it. Granted I never heard it directed at me but it was thrown at my older sister a lot.
