How old are they? Over 18, probably not. Under that, I'd require it.

YES! never feel guilty. You have a right to know what is in there. I know a time a parent thought they were snooping but did read it anyway and found out their son was planning on committing suicide. Now this isn't in your case but yes you have that right. I feel all parents should have their child's password.

Yes. If they live under your roof you have a right to check.  I check my kids facebook periodlically, not every day. But it's important to know what they are up to.  Don't you dare fell quilty.

i think thats a great idea. too many people out there trying to take advantage of our children.. and sometimes its out children taking advantage of others. i think its important to know whats going on in our kids lives.

Absolutely!!!!  I wouldn't even let my DD use a computer in another room.  You never know what they are looking at if you don't watch over them.  There is way to much stuff they can find on the Internet with just one click.  The one i hate the most is the adds on the side of the page withall sex crap.  Even on my apps on my phone and ipod touch have all sexual content on them.  Yes it asks if your of age but one click and your in.  drives me nuts

Absolutely, that should not make you feel guilty either. It just shows you are doing your job as a parent.
