Whether you spend a buck on “cheap” coffee or $3.99 on a fancy latte, that cash adds up quickly. Calculate roughly how much you spend per year on coffee and then think about what else you can do with that money. Pay off debt? Plan a vacation? Save for your kids’ college education? Then try making coffee at home and carrying it in a reusable cup as many days as you can – and watch your savings pile up!

We do that already.  I buy the largest Folgers container I can when I go grocery shopping & we bought travel coffee mugs to use.

Buying coffee at a special place is usually just considered a treat for me, I brew my own coffee every day!
