Mom to Mom Mom to Mom

I'm amazed at the negativity in cartoons

And not just in the newer cartoons. The smurfs are on right now and I can't even tell you how many times they called another character "stupid".

Geez it seems like the only REALLY good channel out there for my kids is the Sprout Channel. It's crazy.

My kids watch PBS and DVDs I buy them. I know what you mean though. The other day we were watching some old cartoons and was a little shocked by Betty Boop.

We are PBS and Disney Jr fans, and even then I am careful.

Like we don't allow Cailu because he's negative and whiny.

We don't allow Max and Ruby, because Ruby is mean.

We actually don't allow must things on Nick Jr, it seems nick is getting as bad on cartoon network.

The only shows allowed from Nick or CN are:
Scooby Doo
Bugs and company
Dora and Dieago
Little Bear
(that may be it)

Our favs are:
Dinosaur Train (as per my avatar)
Jake and the Neverland Pirate
Mickey Mouse Club House
Handy Mandy
Little Einsteins

My daughter likes Little Einsteins, Mickey, Jake, Chugington, and Thomas. (She's in some eerie train thing right now...:-/). Oh and also that new Mc Stuffins show I think it's called

We watch a lot of PBS, Disney Jr, and Nick Jr. My oldest loves the older shows on Disney and Nick (Victorious, Big Time Rush, Wizards of Waverly Place, etc).
