I was actually going to have a girl's night and go see magic mike. Unfortunately some family issues came up and she had to bail. So im goi g solo. :-)

My mother, who would not drive half an hour to see her grandchildren or 45 minutes to see my youngest at the hospital when she was born, is going to Miami and then on to St. Martins for 2 weeks.

This bs is why I call mil "mom" and my mother is just mother. And yes there is  a tone to it that makes it an explicit.

I wound up not going last night. Instead we went this morning to take the kids to see Brave.

Yeah I liked it. Lexi fell asleep and Landon covered his ears during one scene. It had gotten pretty loud though and some noises bother him. None of the characters really sing but the story is really good.
