'Name your poison' is what bartenders in the movies say when someone sidles up to the bar. How come bartenders never say anything cool like that in real life? And, while we're on the topic, why don't they slide drinks down the length of the bar, play the piano, or let you keep a running tab open for years that you both joke will never get paid? Maybe we've spent too much time watching movies. Or too much time in bars. Oh well' cheers!
LOL! This reminds me.. the bar that has been at the corner of the next tiny town over is up for sale.. :( It's been there for as long as I've been in this area, and that's at least 13 years now. We never did go in for a drink.. kind of feel bad for them. We are all feeling the pinch, as I keep saying anymore...
I remember those back in the day! Oh my girl! lol
