If you have a birthday party at chuck e cheese or something along those lines, should you provide pizza for all the guests? Or assume the guests will buy their own?

Just curious as to what the real 'rule' is, I can make a good argument for both sides so I have no clue!

I buy pizza for all guests who come. I also provide drinks. And if they don't eat pizza will provide salad.

If you are throwing the party and inviting them as your guests. Yes, you should be paying. At least for the children invited.

You don't invite friends over to your house and expect them to pay for or provide their own dinner. So I don't know why it would be any different for a birthday party.

Yes u should pay, its not like a house party where u can say byob (bring your own beer)
You expect people to bring gifts for your child, drive there and make time for your kids celebration, so yes u provide the food and cake and tokens! Its rude not too!
