this is probably going to make me sound like to most impatient person in the world, but df and i are trying to conceive. we have only been trying for like a month and a half, and no luck yet. i know it is pretty much about timing, but still. when we got pregnant with ds, we were trying to not have kids yet, and still got pregnant. we were using condoms as birth control. we have quit using them, but no luck yet.

That's really not long at all. I remember reading somewhere that the average is 6 months to a year.

Have you been charting/tracking?

Did you just go off of the BC right when you decided to start trying? Some people can't get pregnant until 3 to 6 months after going off of BC. Other than that, the average time of "trying" is 6 months to 3 years. Get an ovulation kit, they help a lot.

Don't be discouraged... if you actually look at the science of conceiving it's virtually impossible and amazing that people even manage to get pregnant. It will happen soon.

The only bc we have ever used is condoms. I have never been on the pill/shot or anything. I have an app on my phone that I ise to track my periods and it gives me a rough estimate of when I ovulate and when high fertity days are. I was reading articles online about the science behind conception and might try one of the pro conveiving personal lubricants as I read most can deter conception by killing and slowing sperm.
