Awww.. I remember when mine went through that. I told mine it hurt my feelers and not to say mean things even when they are so mad they might burst. They only did it a couple times.

Its a stage and this is not the last time you will hear it. Just take a deep breath and realize she doesn't mean it!

I told her it hurt my feelings n she said I was mad u were being mean. I said well a good mommy is mean at times. So I explain to her when she or her sister is bad they need to me punished. And I get I want to be a good girl. She took cute cant stay mad at her. Oh I got mom I berry love you!

Aww. :-( My daughter will be 3 in August.  When we ask her if she wants a surprise or a treat she gets excited, but then throws a fit when she gets the surprise or treat. She just keeps crying and saying, "I want a surprise/treat!" LOL I feel bad for her because she obviously thinks a surprise or treat is something else, but she can't communicate to me WHAT she is expecting.

Oh yeah, and my daughter always gets mad and stomps off to someone else when I discipline her and she will say, "I don't like my mommy!" LOL

DD is almost 4 and she has never said anything like that to me yet. She told DH to be quiet one day because he was teasing her. He looked at me and said "did she really just say that", and DD in the backseat says "yea dad I really did say that so be quiet". He got mad at me for "letting" her say that to him, I told him that he shouldnt have been teasing her and it couldve been worse she couldve told him to shut up. DD thinks shut up is a bad word though too. DD also knows how to use big words like dangerous in context (she is very well versed for a 3 year old). She cracks me up with the things she says, like explaining to me why its "dangerous" to walk in the road instead of the sidewalk.

My dd is 5 and started saying I'm never talking to you again when she gets mad. I say good, I love the quiet and she gets mad lol!
