So, I got my visit for this month, from flo! However,currently, it's a lot heavier than usual and has lots of clots... By heavier I mean I'm wearing a pad and a super plus tampon and am leaking through quite quickly (about 1-2 hours into wearing the tampon, I have to change it again). I hve had an IUD in since the end of march. I've had sex a couple times since I've had it in. I'm not having horrible cramps or anything, just some mild ones. I wondered if anyone else had experiences like mine and if it was/wasn't a miscarriage? I'm waiting a couple days to go to he doctor, I feel like it might be one of those random heavy flows because my body is probably still adjusting to my IUD, and I'm hoping it will slow down and stop having clots in it.

I dunno. i have had my iud for over a year and still have really heavy random bleeding like that with huge clots. ( i will be out of no where and only bleed for a couple hours then stop then bleed again days later then stop.) and i hate it. im considering having the iud taken out.

That honestly (in a weird way) makes me feel somewhat better to know its probably just normal. Sucks that it happens though, because I was hoping it was finally stopping as far as altogether because last month it shortened to like 4 days.... Guess I was too excited about that happening so mother nature threw a darn curve ball... If it keeps happening, I'll probably get mine taken out too and just not have sex anymore Til I'm married or something, I'm not subjecting myself to anymore baby daddy drama... Well, BD family... bd doesn't seem to care anything about DD, his family wants to raise DD as their own.ehhh, I'm off topic, lol thank you for your reply, reassuring to me.

That happened to me. I was out shopping and it just kind of gushed. I was horrified I had my husband leave work and bring me to the ER. In the end my doc said it was normal for the first one to be like that because it is a "foreign" object in and your body is trying to get rid of it. I was so scared though. Not to mention my favorite pants were ruined. :-(

It's a paraguard. I have a heart condition so I chose no hormones etc because of that.

Omgosh, that's awful! My first one with it in wasn't this heavy, it lasted about 2 weeks though, and was just annoyingly light lol. Hopefully it'll clear up soon this time and just be a random heavy period.,,,

The first time I had it it never happened I just got light periods. After that one heavy time this time around I just spot with cramps. Good luck!!
