It really doesn't require nerve. I flat out told my doctor I preferred to see his nurse practitioner or one of the midwives and if I'm not high risk I don't see why I have to deal with him anyway.
Tell them how you want it mama, they should be grown-up enough not to get their panties in a wad.
It went. I don't know, she was weird. I've had appts with her before (getting my mirena in and out) and she was always such a biatch...lol! Today she was super nice. She hasn't gotten the notes from my other consultation, so I told her what the dr told me and she ordered everything, just off my word. She asked me how I was feeling and I told her my IBS was acting up a lot and I was so nauseous in the morning. She just kept saying she was sorry and asked if I wanted something for the nausea. Like she seemed genuinely concerned. I don't know...I might go to a couple more appts with her, just see, ya know? Maybe I caught her on bad days before? Or hell, maybe today I caught her on a good day! lol I did find out that her youngest is only 3 days older than my youngest. So we were chatting about them. :)
