My name is Brandy, I'm new to cafe mom and I'm looking for a few new friends and some mommy support. I have a wonderful husband and an adorable three month old son. I'm looking for support because I don't have many peers or friends and my mothering gets criticized regularly by my mother. She's sure she has all the answers and everything I'm doing is wrong.

Welcome! And sorry about your mother. Mine is the same way! Frustrating but my dd is 15 months and you come to realize you are the parent and you know what is best. Opinions are just that and everyone has one. I have learned to brush it off!

Hello, I'm Lisa. Welcome to Cafe Mom.  I'm in the same boat with my parents.  Nag, nag.  Not just about parenting, but about eeeeverything.  (Gag!!)  I've got a husband and five kids.  I've finally learned to kind of blow my parents off.  I cringe when I say that, because I know its not right, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to survive.  And, my kids are pretty much grown up now.
