Do you have one? Do you use it regularly?
Share some of your favorite recpies! I'm ready to break mine out & starting using it again. :)
Yes! I have 2....I use my large 6 1/2 qt. the most....I made dried beans for chili yesterday and made some Taco Soup Dip last week and Cola Chicken a few days ago.
Yes! I love mine! I got it last Christmas from my parents after I broke my other one lol! Since dh is working days now and after he gets off I go in at 6, we have started using it a lot! Today I am making chicken with stuffing in the crockpot. All you do is add your chicken to the bottom, sray with cooking spray first. Then you mix garlic and onion powder with 2 cans of cream of chicken soup, pour over chicken! Then you take butter, water and stuffing mix (one box) and mix it in a bowl, then pour over the chicken and soup. Cook on low for about 6 hours! So easy and I am making green beans with it! I will let you know how it turns out! I am waiting for a chiller day to make my famous chilli!
Here's a bump!
I made something similar to that before. The boys loved it. I didn't like it so much. I think maybe I would like it better if I only put the stuffing in for a short amount of time. But being in there all day with the chicken made it too mushy for my taste. :(

For the dried beans...
2 (16 oz.) dried beans
seasonings
water
I add all to crockpot and cook on high till beans are tender/done. I usually start them around 11:30am and they are done around 6pm or so.
Taco Soup Dip - justslowcooking.com
16 oz Ground beef; cooked
16 oz Canned corn
16 oz Salsa
Mix together and place in a slow cooker. Serve with tortilla chips.
Chicken Cola
1 chicken - of a size that fits your crock
1 cup ketchup
1 cup cola drink
Place chicken in slow cooker. Combine ketchup and cola and pour over chicken. Cook on low for 9 hours.
I'll add a little less liquid for crockpot though next
time I make it.
I used six small boneless chicken breasts and cooked on high for about 4 hrs.
