Sex, and feeling itchy

Ok I don't really know how to explain this, but here it goes.....about 8 months ago I had my second son, and 4 months after that my dh came home from deployment. A couple months after I had my son, I started getting a yeast infection feeling, and then I got my period. When I got it again, I went and got some yeast infection stuff from the store, and it didn't work so I went to the dr and they gave me a couple of pills. When I went there they did all the tests (like for stds and all that stuff, but we have both been faithful) , and all the tests came back negative. I've been to the doctors several times because of this. All they've told me was I have some bacteria, but it didn't quite come back as a yeast infection. I was just wondering if anyone has this same thing, or have any ideas of what it could be?
It's only itchy on the outside, not like a yeast infection where it's in the inside, and there's no discharge.
Eek.....

I do. He gives me 2 pills, I take them, then a few days before my period comes, it comes back. So I would have to go to him every 3 weeks, to a month :/

I have a tendency towards yeast infections and I know in the past sometimes those meds have not worked for me. If the cream was helping at all, I would go back on it. (Can't hurt anyway.) Get the 7 day stuff, 2 packages, and use it for 2 weeks. If that doesn't help then you might want to bug your doctor because it probably isn't yeast. Good luck. Not a comfy situation, I know. :0(

It's almost like when I get a period every month, I get symptoms of a yeast infection too. I mean I use the cream and it works sometimes, but it's just the fact that it comes back every month, and it makes it SUPER painful to have sex, if I can stand to have it. I would just hate to go to my dr every month :/

I've tried the one day, 3 day, and the 7 day. The one day does not work at all, but times are tough, and with yeast infection stuff ranging from 5-30$ it makes it tough

I don't know why getting your period triggers yeast symptoms, but I know I have had that happen several times, too. Very strange. I would still try the cream for 2 weeks and see what happens if I were you. Living with that pain seriously sucks!

Yea it does. I mean I'll try the cream for a lil while longer and see if it helps any :)

Go to the health food store and get some chlorophyll pills or liquid. I know it sounds gross, but it helps flush out the bad stuff from your hoo-haa. I had the same problem and it works!
