It's been a while since I've been on CafeMom and let me tell you, it's a valuable resource for moms who move.  I've missed yall!  Anyway, my name is Dianna and I am an upper 40ish mom with a 10 year old son, CJ.  I've been married for 21 years and my husband's job requires him to move. I was a legal assistant for 26 years before I become a WAHM.

Within the next 30 days, we will be moving to a new area - most likely somewhere near Lincoln, Alabama.  If anyone can share any information, i.e., best or worst places to live, places to avoid, schools, etc., it would be most appreciated.

I look forward to making new friends here in Mom to Mom! Thanks to all.

That's what I've missed - yall are awesome in making a mom feel right at home! Thanks to everyone :)   I'm slowly getting bits and pieces about the new area.

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect.  It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.
