Mom to Mom Mom to Mom

ewwwwhh totally grossed out

I have an 11 year old son and I was picking up his room to make a point and have him try to keep his room clean and start an award system , like a chore reward activity. I thought it would only be fair if we started this with his room being cleaned.

I cleaned under his bed and found a white t shirt with stains . I left it there but I am so grossed out to know my son is masturbating .

Should I say anything or not.

Ehh normal boy thing, I don't know that I would say anything. I wouldn't have put it back under the bed though. Blech..

I wouldn't say anything. Just tell him to make sure he cleans under his bed and get all the dirty clothes picked up. You don't want to embarrass him. My DS in 11 also so I know how you feel, but it's natural.

I am not touching it. Have you ever found evidence that your child is masturbating

My son started the same. I've never said anything because I don't want to embarrass him, but I did have my husband talk to him about it. All I do now is pick up the dirty shirt (or towel or whatever) and throw it in the wash. It's normal to start masturbating at that age.

I understand its normal but he must have now reached puberty where he ( omg , so embarrassed ) now ejaculates.

Grab it with gloves, tongs, or a trash bag lol.

My children are 6 and almost 2.

I personally think someone should talk to him like dad or you if there is no dad... just so he knows it's okay but also to maybe clean up a little more. Kids need to know there's nothing wrong with it but that it's also to remain in private.  But try not to be too embarrassing.
