Mom Delivers World's Heaviest Triplets (VIDEO)

Big birthweight babies have a bad rap. Moms hear 12-pound baby, and they cringe. But a set of babies dubbed the world's heaviest triplets have left me appreciating just how lucky some of us are to never have worried about how much our babies weighed.

When Brittany and Jason Deen's three sons came into the world, the doctors added up their three birthweights. Together, they topped the Guinness record of 18 pounds, 11 ounces. Come on, make your guesses!

The triplets weighed a total of 20 pounds. Even!

That means that all three kids weighed in the "normal" birthweight range for singletons! Jenson weighed 5.5 pounds, Elliott weighed 7.3, and Sidney was 7.8.

Now consider that the average triplet is around 4 pounds.

Those two bigger boys? They are both bigger than my (very healthy) daughter was when she came out. And I remember being so worried about how much my child would weigh. I was worried that a big baby would make me tear (didn't happen), would hurt more ...

And here this woman is LUCKY to have had babies who were considered "big," at least for multiples. Certainly changes my perspective on big babies.

Both kids were born weighing 7 lbs 2 oz. And Lexi was almost a week early!

My dad was a twin. He and my uncle both weighed 9lbs each. My grandma was a big lady though
I'm much smaller and I had my dd she was 9lbs 14 ozs

My 1st-boy was 8 lbs 7 oz he had a 15 1/2 inch head and that was big lol

My 2nd-boy was 7 lbs 10 oz

My 3rd-girl was 6 lbs 11 oz

My 4th-girl was 6 lbs 6 oz.

Oldest was 7lbs 14oz. Youngest was 9lbs 6oz.

I personally think big babies are awesome. I love hearing about the ladies who naturally deliver 10-12 lb babies.

Wow those are big babies. My biggest was just over nine sounds. She was 22 inches long. Now she's almost six feet tall. My older boys were right around 21 inches long. Now they are 6'6" and 6'3" tall. My fourteen yr old is almost 5'6". I don't think he'll grow as tall as the others.
