Creative Play Challenge Day 3: Play a Silly Car Game

Whether you're traveling far away, or just around the corner this holiday season, try some silly car games to keep your children entertained. For example, in the game "What Am I?" each person in the car takes a turn describing an animal, insect, or object without naming it. Then, the other family members or car companions try to guess what it is by asking questions. The "Tell a Silly Story" game involves each family member adding a silly sentence to a unique, utterly imaginative story that changes every time you tell it!

DS is a lil young for games but right now we sing songs. I can't wait till he is older and we go on vacations in the car. We'll play license plate bingo, out of state license plate game. And when its dark out we will play the thump game. First person to say thump when they see a car with a burned out headlight gets a point, semi's are 5 points and cop cars with the lights on is also 5 points. If you thump and its not a burned out/missing headlight you lose a point. And if your in the negatives for points you can only thump on missing tail lights until you back up to 0. It's a real fun game to play! I played it as a kid.

We always play silly games in the car! We like to point out decorations people have out, or other cars, sometimes even people :)
Ds & I have a blast when we're driving!

 just joined but, we do this game real often, its fun with lots of twists we keep adding in, its sometimes a homeschool  example/review or just for fun, our rules change often so it doesnt get boring or have same pattern.-as for day one/two we are , rather I am -opting to keep commercialism out of 'holiday'  as new tradition - no tree, no reg. gift giving unless to neighbor, stranger,....and hopefully nothing bought-, less stress,.....so we will combine day 1-2 into baking project and call it homeschool cooking project, cant wait to see challenge 4.
