It's Coffee Break time! Hot Topic: Stop Watching That Filth!

Posted by   + Show Post

Welcome to Mom to Mom's Tuesday Coffee Break!

Do you know who Jake is, from the tv sitcom "Two and a Half Men"? He has a message for you and it's to stop watching that show. He says "Please stop filling your head with filth. Please." Yes, he is on the show but he says he does not want to be on it. He also says "You can not be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can't. I'm not okay with what I'm learning -- what the Bible says -- and being on that television show.".

You can click here for more details.

1. Do you like the show "Two and a Half Men"?

2. How do you feel about the actor's comments about the show?

I haven't watched the show in a loooong time. If he is unhappy he should leave the show though.

Ok, I just went through & read the article. How bizzare... Who joins a church just because they "like black people"?! Shouldn't it be based off of similar beliefs, etc?

I use to watch it but nowt much anymore. Its funny. But it does have adult humor. Most shows do now days, even the cartoons that I won't let my kids watch. You pretty much have to get rid of the tv anymore.

Hey he is 19 he can say what he wants. I understand his stance. At my house TBN rules 24/7 because there is way to much garbage on TV.

He is trying to get out of it but is still on contract if I am not mistaken

I haven't watched it since a little before the one actor changed.

I would love a dirty chai tea with whipped cream.

I knew an apology, retraction and public regret was soon to follow the brat's YouTube rant. I do avoid the show, but it is as filthy as honestly a show could warn us it is. A. He's young and entitled. B. he wasn't taught to appreciate his paycheck, in part because of immaturity. C. I doubt his parents took him to church much if at all, so he is vulnerable to cult religious leaders. IMHO.

ps. Coffee, regular, lots of whole milk, 2 sugars. And thanks
