It probably just a phase! I would just keep trying.

I wouldn't worry, those are all fairly healthy. Our pedi told us if that's all they will eat, let them. As long as its not junk like cookies or Twinkies they should be fine. My 4 old is very quirky about what he eats, he only likes light healthy food such as yogurt, fruit, cereals, etc. (He doesn't even like the "kid" cereals, its usually mini wheats or plain ole cheerios).

My son is two as well and your LO eats better than him lol, the only thing I can get my son to eat is scrambled eggs, plain pasta, rice, and broccoli. And in the rare occasion we get take out he eats noodles from the Chinese place lol. When you find out let me know because he's driving me nuts!

Totally agree. My toddler does this off and on as well.

Don't buy those things and he won't have no choice but to try other things.

There are things my LO will eat no problem and others she needs encouragement. For things I know she will eat well I'll make them into appropriate snacks. For meal times she has what I'm having and we eat together.
Find a way to combine the things they like and don't like into one dish. One rice dish I toss in veggies and wrap in a tortilla. she like tortillas and rice, but would pick out the broccoli or green beans if they were exposed. Sometimes once she realizes they were in there she is less picky in finishing it off w/o the tortilla.

I think he's pretty ok with that. He's eating and its nutritious. My daughter is like that her pediatrician says its fine as long as she actually wants to eat
