Do you rent or own your place. We rent a 2 bedroom apt thats $675 a month.
Rent :-(
We just lost our house we were "renting to own" (it was a scam)
We rent, but only because we have to. Im a community manager for an apartment management co. and we HAVE to live on-site and we have to pay rent (it does however come out of our paycheck untaxed) . I pay $825 a month for a 2bd 1bth apartment. Western Washington is EXPENSIVE!!!

I rent. we have a 2 bdrm $595 i think it might have gone up a little bit.
Pretty much this. I am renting my grandparents' house for dirt cheap and I can do whatever I want.
Quoting shadow_lark:Kind of both. We are technically renting Dh's grandma's house, but she has no interest in it anymore financially, so we are responsible for anything, as well as paying he taxes and insurance on top oif the mortgage. We also have a lot more freedom to remodel than with a typical rental situation, and once our lease period is up we get first option to buy the house if we want. we pay 432 for the three bedroom 2 bath, not sure what insurance and taxes are, but i wouldnt guess any more than an additional 100-150 per month that needs to be set aside.
