I believe I saw "Brasso" in Walmart out here in Los Angeles. It is also sold on amazon.com. It is an old product used to remove tanish, but it is still around.

I will check it out. My husband is army but never mentioned it.

It works great at cleaning anything metal.  BTW I wrote wool pad but I didnt mean to use them together.  wool pad for daily cleaning and brasso for the deep cleaning.  Got hooked on it in the Army, they use it for everything! It is located at wal-mart usually on the lower shelf with the cleaning supplies like Old English and near Drano.

If you mix a little bleach in with your dish water it will sanitize your dishes and keep your sink clean...
